Pay: Negotiable based on experience.

Sign on bonus is paid out after 120 days of employment

Rapidly growing, privately owned general dental office is seeking an enthusiastic Dental Hygienist that understands the difference that a hygienist can bring to a dental practice. We will welcome you as a co-provider, addressing and accessing the needs of our patients.

Functions:

• Perform periodontal evaluation, clean and polish, scaling and root planning for all patients and possibly take X-rays.
• Educate patients about oral health – ways to keep their teeth and gums healthy.
• Provide patient education on all aspects of oral hygiene and dental health
• Sustain patient comfort during procedures
• Manage clinical supplies

Highlights:

Compassion: Sometimes patients are in extreme pain or have fears about undergoing dental work, and the hygienist must be sensitive to their emotions.

Detail Oriented: Follow One Family Dental’s standard operating protocols to help dentist diagnose and treat a patient. Sometimes, may need to work without the direct supervision of a dentist.

Interpersonal Skills: Must work closely with dentists and patients and their support team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $47.00 – $53.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• Dental Hygienist: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Registered Dental Hygienist (Required)
