Say goodbye to the days of multiple appointments and uncomfortable temporary crowns. Our innovative technology offers a cutting-edge solution that combines convenience, precision, and aesthetics to restore your smile in just one visit. As a board-certified dentist, Dr. Prasad Sanku uses the latest techniques to achieve excellent results for each patient. Elevate your dental experience with our same-day crowns today!
The process begins with a comprehensive examination. Dr. Sanku evaluates the patient’s oral health and determines whether a dental crown is an appropriate solution for their needs.
Using an infrared camera, Dr. Sanku takes an optical impression of the cracked or broken tooth. The computer processes this information and creates a detailed 3D image of the tooth and nearby area.
Dr. Sanku uses the digital model to design a permanent crown that matches the patient’s tooth size, shape, and color, ensuring a seamless and natural appearance. There is no need for a temporary crown.
Once the design is complete, our in-house milling machine fabricates the dental crown from a high-quality ceramic block. This process takes a short time, so patients can wait comfortably in our office.
Once the crown is ready, Dr. Sanku ensures a perfect fit and bonds it securely to the tooth. He adjusts the structure for optimal function and comfort.
Before completing the procedure, Dr. Sanku double-checks the crown’s fit, bite alignment, and aesthetics. He can make final corrections if needed.
The tooth requiring a crown must have enough natural structure remaining to support the restoration properly. Patients with severely broken teeth may need a filling before the CEREC® procedure.

Read morePatients receiving CEREC® crowns should have generally good oral health without extensive tooth decay or advanced periodontal disease. The tooth receiving the crown must be healthy enough to support a restoration.
Read morePatients should demonstrate good oral hygiene habits and a commitment to caring for their crowns. Proper brushing, flossing, and regular dental visits help ensure the restoration lasts a long time.
Read moreCandidates should have realistic expectations about the longevity and aftercare requirements of same-day crowns, which can last several decades only with proper maintenance. They must also understand that CEREC® restorations are not a substitute for dental implants - these crowns are not designed to replace missing teeth. Their main purpose is to rebuild certain parts of an existing broken tooth.

Dental crowns created with CEREC® technology cost between $800 and $1,800 per tooth. The price may vary depending on the tooth’s location, the extent of damage or decay, and the materials used (porcelain or zirconia). The doctor’s fee and anesthesia also influence the overall cost.
Minor chips can be repaired with dental bonding, but more significant damage may require replacing the crown. Dr. Sanku will assess the situation and recommend the best course of action.
I am a new patient and very glad I chose this dentist office. I felt welcomed. Staff was professional and kind and I also felt comfortable when I got in “THE CHAIR”. I am one of those who has a little anxiety when it comes to “Dentist appt. today”. A big thank you and it was a pleasure to meet my new dentist family.
